I am Pamela Ubeda, Architect and Principal of Coast + Beam Architecture.
Pamela Ubeda's Bio:
Pamela Ubeda is the owner and Architect of Coast + Beam Architecture, a boutique architecture studio specializing in Sustainable Coastal Residential Architecture.
Pamela holds a Masters degree in Architecture from the University of British Columbia as well as a Bachelor of Science in Urban Planning from the University of Victoria.
Pamela holds memberships at several institutions including the Architectural Institute of BC (AIBC), Interior Design Institute of BC (IDIBC), Canada Green Building Council (CaGBC) and the Living Building Institute (ILFI).
Throughout her career she has been involved in a wide range of cultural, commercial and residential architecture projects both locally and internationally. Growing up on the West Coast, she naturally developed a passion for wood and it’s relevance in west coast modern architecture.
She shares her passion through close relationships with clients and colleagues as well as through speaking engagements both formal and informal.
Little known fact: despite looking as Scottish as her mother, she has the blood of her Spanish father and revels in the world of Miró, Dalí, Picasso, Gaudí, flamenco, tapas, queso and vino. Olé!
